Disabling Start up messages
and enabling Contact Screen in IRis 3.0 when login.
When you open IRis 3.0, Start up
message will pop up on your screen. You can make it
disappear by clicking on “Continue On” button. You
also have an option to disable it:
- Go
to Tools – Setups – System Setups
- Click
on “General Options” tab
- Check
the “Disable Startup Messages” check box
If you want “Contact
Options” screen open when you login into IRis, you can
also enable it in “System Setups” window:
- In
“System Setups” window click on
“Search/Contact Options” tab
- Check
the “When Starting IRis, go right to Contact
Options screen” check box.
- To
save your settings, click on “Save” button.
- Click
“Ok” on message: “IRis will close in
order to update your system setting”.

We just bought a new server. What is the best way
to move IRis from the existing server to the new
one?
A
With IRis 2.3, all you need to do
(after setting up the new server) is: Go to the IRis
folder on the old server, R-click on it, select
Copy, navigate to the correct drive on the new
server, R-click and choose Paste.
