Directory on Disk
CD
Step
1: Create
the Windows Directory on Disk CD
1.
Create 3 directories somewhere on your hard
drive and call them Disk1, Disk2, Disk3
2.
Copy all the files from the DIRDISK\WIN144_1
folder under IRis to the Disk1 folder.
3.
Copy all the files from the DIRDISK\WIN144_2
folder under IRis to the Disk2 folder.
4.
Copy all the files from the DIRDISK\WIN144_3
folder under IRis to the Disk3 folder.
5.
Open your CD Burner software and have it burn
the 3 directories to the CD.
When your user installs your Directory on disk
they will go to the Disk1 folder then setup.exe.
Step
2:
Burn the Data to the CD, remember if you have room
on your Windows Directory on Disk CD you can follow
these steps and burn to the same CD.
1.
Create your Data Disks per the Directory on
Disk instructions.
2.
Create the Data Floppies
3.
Create directories on your hard drive that
matches the amount of data disk you have created.
For example:
2 data floppies were created.
Create one folder called Data1, then create a
second folder called Data2.
4.
Open you CD Burner software and have it burn
the directories with contents to the CD.
5.
When your user is ready to install the data
into Directory on Disk they will choose the OTHER
option instead of A: or B:.
Then they will choose their CD-ROM drive and
then Data1 directory.
